The Power of Own Brand Cosmetics....

After being inspired by a fellow tweeters discovery of Walmart's own brand nail polish, this pinged a thought in my mind, just because cosmetics aren't extremely expensive, come in fancy packaging or get flaunted by a glam model - does this mean they aren't any good? I definitely beg to differ.

UK Drug Store Superdrug launch MUA
Now this brand designed by Superdrug is called MUA (Make Up Academy) immediately sprung to mind.
I was quite excited to see what they would be like, these products are amazing as ALL (...yes...all) of them are £1.00!! it seems shockingly...and worryingly cheap; however the results look far from cheap.

The eyeshadows come in lots of different colours, often the same shade in matte and metallic/shimmer.  The Bronzer/Blush comes in a decent size container, there are lipglosses/mascara/eye liners - THE WORKS!

I took the time to do a little look using the various eye-shadows
from MUA.( I have a few of the colours!)

So ultimately I, personally, am not put off by the cheaper cosmetics, since my fantastic results from the MUA range. HOWEVER.....caution must always be used, depending on the cosmetics source.
