Well this is a little review for you, this is for the Revlon Shiny Sheer lipsticks, these usually retail at around £8.00, however I was sent one for free as part of a web promotion I entered and I only paid £1.99 for shipping! however now on investigating Cosmetic Kingdom sell them for £2.49 and other websites retail for similar prices, so its ALL about shopping around.
The lipstick is small so its perfect handbag size, it looks well made and is very 'Revlon' in its choice of packaging and colours etc. I believe there are around 6 shades but correct me if I am wrong.
When rolling the lipstick up and down (this might be a one off by the way) the stick can get stuck and not go down properly into the tube, so it ruins the angle of the lipstick and gives you glossy fingers - NOT A GOOD LOOK!
APPLICATION
As mentioned above the lipstick has a few issues coming in and out of the tube, but I am sure this is a one off. The lipstick feels good quality and after applying lasts for a good couple of hours (if you don't roll your lips that is - I am a sucker for this....literally)
It doesn't feel dry on my lips and I was even daring to try 'Rum Glow' which is the subtle but sensual caramel shade available. I think the depth of the metallic shades are gorgeous and add definition to lips however thick or thin.
LIKES
The fact I got it on special offer which was fab, but also finding out since it can be sourced for cheaper than the original selling price of £7.50 (I personally would like a little more product for my money)
DISLIKES
The packaging was good but the twist technology clearly doesn't work as they desired.
