Boots 17 Solo Eyeshadow

Hi guys! Once again I must apologise for the lengthy gap between blogs, I guess working life is catching up on me again!

I have decided to review a product I bought ages ago and have only just started to use it and discover how amazing it is!

Boots 17 Solo Eyeshadow in 'Gold Digger'
I have included some links down at the bottom for buying this lovely eyeshadow.

The first impressions do not make me think 'wow lots of thought went into the packaging' or 'ewww....cheap and tacky' it is simply average, very similar to other eye-shadows on the market, this is in some ways a disadvantage, I will explain why later.

When applying the eyeshadow is when I truly was amazed, the eyeshadow is clearly a metallic/glitter combination. Its definitely best to apply a liquid base to the lids, this achieves a better colour and longevity of the make-up ( I recommend HIP Cream Shadow L'Oreal - fab price and quality)

When applied with a brush the colour is very strong and the way it looks looks like you have used a much more expensive product, hence the packaging not really doing the product justice!

The only problem I find is that the powder is so compacted you have to wiggle the brush on top to dislodge the powder, this is my only gripe with it.

Below is a photo (sorry its not great....) of how it looks on my lids and how it looks generally.

This eyeshadow retails from Boots at £3.50, however I have seen it online for up to £2-2.50 INCLUDING postage :) try mainly eBay and Google shopping.
