First Product Review - L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes

So far for 2011 it has to be one of my top 5 products.

This mascara has been out for a while, I, like many, cringe when you see the vast array of mascaras available, all seem to do either two things.....everything.....or nothing.

I refused to pay the RRP of £11 for the mascara, thinking to myself that it was probably a case of 'paying for the label and not the product'

HOWEVER.....I have found several places to buy it new....such as Ebay, all from recommended and trusted sellers that I know well for aroundabout £5-6 (inc, postage) I felt then after finding this that I may invest in this pocket rocket product.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
When I first got the mascara, the size and gold colour made me feel quite exclusive, I feel special using it and it has a certain sense of glamour about it.

SIZE
The product itself is a bulky product, giving you either the impression the brush will be huge or you get lots of mascara for your money, normally I would shy away from bulky items but in this case, the brush is big and you get ALOT for your money.

EFFECT AND APPLICATION
When applying the mascara I would highly recommend not using a dark eyeshadow on your eye lid, this can sometimes minimise the effect of the mascara.
I used the mascara with a silver sparkle effect on my eyelids - I have to say I was very impressed, I didn't need many strokes before the lashes were big and thick - it does what Eva Longoria says it will do! big grin

However, due to the size of the brush, I did find applying the mascara to my lower lashes a little more hard, but if you apply the brush gently and take your time then it will work fine- if you smudge it however please refer to my LINKS for help!

OVERALL OPINION
As mentioned earlier I was a little hesitant at the price of it initally, but after shopping around I realised I could get the item for cheaper than most UK High Street shops. Please refer to my links for further info.

Regardless of the price now, I would probably have spent the few extra pounds on the mascara if it meant that L'Oreal would develop it to become EVEN better
