Well after receiving good feedback after my L'Oreal review, I wasn't put off, I will keep going till I reach where I want to be, with all these other wondrous sites/blogs etc I sometimes doubt If I'l will ever be able to do as well as them, but they all started somewhere right?
My next review is probably my 3rd Favourite product of 2010, and....in honesty was a bit of a surprise find If I am truthful.
The Technic Eye Shadow ShimmerStick
The Technic Shimmerstick first made an appearance as I rushed to the discount cosmetics shop 'All Wellangood' in town one evening as I forgot I was having a 'date' I rushed in desperate for something silver and sleek, I saw the price of the shimmer stick (around £1.50RRP) and snapped it up straight away (after just loosing my job I was trying to save my pennies)
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The shimmer-stick itself is long (around 12cm) giving the impression that there's lots of product for your £1.50, which there is, its nifty twist function and lid means you can roll it back in to avoid damage if the lid pops off for whatever reason.
Size
As already covered above, but to add, the size of the stick itself isnt too big/bulky or small/scratchy, its the perfect size.
Effect & Application
I have to admit, I have come across some rather oily and/or dry eye creams/sticks in my quest for cosmetic perfection, however this one ticks all the boxes, the formula itself works well, however sometimes it can come out a little thick, but I will come to this later.
| Above is a photo of it applied and then brushed a little to clear excess and blend nicely either on its own or as a base for other colours on top. |
